Determining Shoe Sizing
Determining your Japanese shoe size is as easy as measuring the length of your foot in centimeters. The most reliable way to determine your Japanese shoe size is to stand on a piece of paper that is longer than your foot. Make pencil marks at the front-most and back-most points of your foot while holding the pencil as perfectly vertical as possible. Then just measure the distance between the two lines in centimeters. If you don't have a ruler with centimeters, you can measure your foot in inches and then multiply by 2.54 and round up to the nearest 0.5cm. That is your Japanese shoe size.
International Shoe Sizing Chart
If you're unable to do the measuring mentioned above, then you can consult the following shoe size conversion chart. But beware, shoe sizes differ from manufacturer to manufacturer because companies use slightly different size conversion values. The chart below is not as accurate as measuring but can be used as a guide.
